Pastels.
Second part of my Drawing II final: a self-portrait in my own style. My professor pushed me toward a more expressionistic style this semester so I went with it. It will be interesting to see what she thinks of it. I freakin' love this piece. I think that this and my Kurt Vonnegut pieces are my two favorite things I've done this year. It's titled "Insurgentes" because I was listening to the new Steven Wilson album of the same name whilst making this. |
