Simply put, I haven't actually had fun drawing it for years. I've tried to force myself to enjoy it, but apart from one or two strips, they haven't had the same feeling that they did when I started the strip all those years ago. And when something that's given you so much joy becomes a chore, it's time to hang it up.
Don't get me wrong- I'll still do a strip or two here and there, but 18-2-L will no longer be a regular strip. I might just wrap up this storyline and that's that. I do plan on making one or two more storyline comics, one being a massive one that I've been plotting since the comic's inception whilst bored in World History one day.
I'm also working on three different comics - one being a sort of sci-fi noir gig, one involving zombies, and one that will make fun of RPGs and Anime. More to come on these projects when I get something I like. The furthest along is the zombie one. Ths far, it's kind of like Shaun of the Dead mixed with Silent Hill (think laugh-out-loud funny with scare-you-til-you-shit-your-pants scary) with the eventual bleakness of the Fallout series. I'll probably post some character and basic story elements in the coming months.
Anyway, thanks for reading 18-2-L. It was fun while it lasted. Like I said, it won't be permanently going away, but it won't be my main gig.
Peace,
-D

The Mirror on the Wall casts an image dark and small, but i'm not sure at all it's my reflection.
